A Brilliant Teaching Unplugged Idea for Teaching Grammar (No Prep!)

Joker Conga shares a low-prep activity for revising grammar and vocabulary using mini-anecdotes. Teachers dictate sentences containing target language (e.g., active/passive voice for describing theft). Students write them down, compare, and then guess which sentences are true or false by asking questions, promoting authentic listening and questioning practice. After analyzing the language, students create their own true/false sentences using the target grammar/vocabulary. They share these in pairs or groups, asking each other questions for meaningful, interactive practice. The activity is adaptable for various language levels.
