Problem solving through vocabulary games Gallery

Ayabo Akinah presented on “Problem Solving Through Vocabulary Games” at the World Teachers Day conference. She noted that traditional vocabulary teaching is often boring, leading her to integrate games for engaging learning. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, and online platforms such as Sushi and Word Shake help learners acquire new words, boost memory, foster creativity, and encourage social interaction. This approach promotes learner autonomy and problem-solving skills, with teachers acting as facilitators. To ensure retention, she advises homework assignments and revisiting topics in subsequent classes.
